Gurley Leep Auto Group Detail Center

When the Gurley Leep Auto Group decided to install a new car wash and detail center at their Buick GMC store along Douglas Road in Mishawaka, they turned to the team of JPR and Forum Architects to design the new service facility. While the Forum design team worked on building plans, JPR was responsible for locating the new building within the existing parking lot, along with the coordination and relocation of existing utilities to service the facility.  

JPR had to site the building to minimize the loss of dealership car display space and maintain existing vehicle drive lanes. The design also had to meet all City of Mishawaka design standards, including working with Mishawaka Utilities for new Electric and Water service taps. Design for the sanitary sewer had to be coordinated with the car wash equipment company’s mechanical engineer for adequate size of runoff, as well as NIPSCO for a new natural gas connection.  

JPR was able to meet all challenges, deadlines, and client timelines to make this project happen.
