South Bend Orthopedics Medical Campus

The SBO Development Group enlisted JPR to undertake the planning and design of a multi-site campus development. Spanning 60 acres, the goal was to create an appealing location accommodating various medical practices such as outpatient surgical facilities, physical therapy, and general medicine.

Served by the City of Mishawaka Utilities, the development required careful planning for stormwater management, access, parking and circulation. Construction unfolded in phases, with the initial three buildings completed between 2006 and 2009.

JPR’s responsibilities encompassed a range of tasks including geotechnical studies, surveys, zoning considerations, site planning, traffic assessments, engineering design, and landscape architecture.
