Alliance RV

JPR worked closely with Alliance RV to complete multiple projects. This began in 2020 with the civil engineering design for Building #2 at their newly launched production facility in Elkhart, along with creating a Master Plan for the development of future facilities. Since then, JPR has completed civil design for Buildings #3 through #5 on the 147-acre site. Each building was elevated for regulatory compliance due to flood zone designations and to address specific challenges associated with clay soil and a high water table.  

Along with civil design, the team developed a paved parking lot for RV storage located within the floodway of Pine Creek and permitted through IDNR. With the challenge of not changing the existing cross-sectional area of the floodway, JPR designed the lot to allow for stormwater to be released from a swale and overflow to Pine Creek. The overflow from a wet pond was directed around the storage lot.

Additionally, JPR designed a roadway extension for Benchmark Drive, leading into the Alliance RV campus. This extension also allowed for public sanitary sewer and water main services to be expanded to the new buildings.

These projects were a collaborative effort between many JPR departments including civil engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, planning, and surveying.

Alliance RV now features four production lines, from lightweight travel trailers to luxury 5th wheels, and has provided hundreds of jobs for the community.
