Security Space / Check-In: Working alongside airport staff, JPR designed a potential new layout for the gate security check-in. This included field verifying the existing layout and proposing new ideas to fit the latest equipment. Construction has not yet started, and the design is being coordinated with the equipment vendors.
Roof Improvements at the Terminal, Phases 1 - 3: JPR developed design drawings to re-roof the area along the terminal. The team also held pre-bid and pre-construction conferences, and will perform construction administration services through all phases. Phases 1 and 2 are complete, while Phase 3 is scheduled for bidding in May.
Metal Panel Remodel at the Terminal: JPR created the design for the removal of existing metal panels along the front of the terminal, which was put out for bidding and subsequently awarded to Larson Danielson. The design included the removal of the lower 3-feet of rusted metal paneling, which would be replaced with thin-set brick. Per the airports request, due to a window remodel, this project was not constructed.
Window Remodel at the Terminal: JPR provided construction drawings for the demolition and replacement of the existing storefront windows along Terminal Drive. Completed in 2023, this project replaced the metal panel remodel.
Snow Melt Boiler System: JPR, in collaboration with a mechanical consultant, produced drawings aimed at redesigning the current boiler network to encompass the snow melt system located in front of the terminal.
Boardroom Wall Sign: JPR designed and provided construction drawings for bidding and installation of a new illuminated sign for the airport boardroom. Installed with standoffs, the sign includes the airport logo.
Airport Car Wash: JPR coordinated and designed a new car wash facility. The team consisted of site design, MEP, and structural engineers. When complete, the facility will be utilized by car rental companies located at the airport.
