JPR provided landscape architectural design services for a new community building for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi.
The 8,500-square-foot facility received an LEED Silver certification. The building will utilize sustainable technologies such as passive heating and cooling, solar panels, permeable parking surfaces, a green roof, geothermal HVAC, and sustainable wood and forestry products, among others. In addition, it has a 185-person timber framed assembly space surrounded by offices and training rooms. The project construction was completed in the summer of 2011.
