Leo High School: The JPR team led the civil engineering and landscape architecture efforts for a new Fieldhouse at Leo High School. This substantial addition significantly reshaped the surrounding campus and infrastructure. The design team thoughtfully integrated the building’s footprint into the site, coordinating the layout of drive aisles, parking areas, walkways, and utility systems to seamlessly connect with the new facility. The increase in impervious surfaces required the implementation of a comprehensive stormwater management plan. In addition to the Fieldhouse, the team enhanced the adjacent baseball and softball complex and designed new public water service connections to support both the existing campus buildings and the new addition.
paul harding junior high: JPR collaborated with a multi-disciplinary design group to implement two additions to the existing Junior High facility. Alongside the building expansions, our team led campus-wide site improvements focused on enhancing access, parking, bus drop-off and parent pick-up areas, as well as pedestrian circulation routes. These upgrades are designed to foster a more functional, efficient, and safe educational environment. Serving as both civil engineer and landscape architect, JPR guided the site design from initial planning through final engineering – engaging stakeholders, building consensus, and coordinating closely with local regulatory agencies to secure necessary approvals.
Southwick elementary school: To address the growing needs of the community, East Allen County Schools developed Southwick Elementary School as a new facility serving kindergarten through second grade. The JPR team led the planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture efforts for the project. Our team conducted a thorough analysis of vehicular access, parking, pick-up and drop-off circulation, and pedestrian pathways to ensure safety and efficiency while seamlessly integrating the school into the broader campus. We also designed stormwater management systems, utility infrastructure, and emergency service access to support the new facility. In collaboration with the school, the design team thoughtfully planned the exterior learning environment, incorporating playgrounds, passive recreation spaces, and landscaping to enrich the student experience.
