Bremen Aquatics Center

JPR played a key role in transforming an aging aquatic facility into a vibrant, family-friendly destination, working in partnership with another design firm as part of a broader community revitalization initiative. The project involved remodeling the restrooms, locker rooms, lifeguard offices, and concession stand. One of the most notable upgrades replaced a dated large pool with a new splash pad and wading pool, making the space more inclusive and welcoming for visitors of all ages.

JPR’s contributions centered on updating the existing block structure to meet current ADA standards, all while adhering to a tight budget. Through strategic space planning, thoughtful design decisions, and value-driven material choices, JPR delivered a solution that balanced accessibility, function, and aesthetics.

Funded through a Stellar Foundation grant, the project reflects a strong investment in public infrastructure and quality of life, offering a refreshed and welcoming space that will benefit the community for years to come.
