LAGRANGE COUNTY BRIDGE #57 REPLACEMENT PROJECT
LOCATION: LaGrange County, Indiana

Concrete was poured in June for the decking of Bridge #57 in LaGrange County. The Bridge #57 Replacement Project is one of three bridge improvements designed by JPR for LaGrange County in 2017 for construction in 2018. The construction was funded through the State of Indiana under the Community Crossings Matching Grant program. Bridge #57 is located on CR 425 S over Mud Lake Outlet in the southwest portion of LaGrange County. The design incorporats a 3-span continuously reinforced, cast-in-place "slab top" bridge supported by concrete-filled, driven steel shell piles. The bridge decking measures in at 73.5' by 28' in size. The bridge deck and reinforced concrete approach slabs are designed with internal-cure concrete mix for enhanced long-term durability. The project also included steel guardrail and stream bank protection.

THE PARKVIEW CANCER INSTITUTE
LOCATION: Fort Wayne, Indiana

Parkview Health is set to open their state-of-the-art cancer facility to patients in June. JPR is proud to have assisted with the design of the landscape and site design at the Parkview Cancer Institute. A special highlight of the design is the contemplative garden. Our hope is that patients and families can find a bit of peace and tranquility within this space.

THE MADISON STREET PLAZA IS TAKING SHAPE
LOCATION: Decatur, Indiana

Construction is well underway on the Madison Street Plaza. Concrete is currently being poured and installation of pavers is anticipated to begin in May. Decatur's artistic heritage played a major influence in the artistic design of the plaza that incorporates pavers flowing throughout the streetscape, while still respecting the historic influence of the downtown and nearby courthouse. This artistic design of the Madison Street Plaza helps designate the importance of this corridor as not only a streetscape but an event plaza. Throughout the year and each week, this space will be the home to many events, from concerts to farmers markets. The plaza will also be home to several sculptures that will be included in the popular Decatur Sculpture Tour.

TOWN OF BRISTOL BUILDING NEW MUNICIPAL COMPLEX
LOCATION: Bristol, Indiana

The Town of Bristol hired JPR to design a remodel and addition to the existing town hall and police station. The design has begun on the new facility, which will become the Bristol Municipal Complex. Construction is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2018 and is anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2019. The single story addition with a partial basement will be about 6,500 square feet. One side will serve as the police station and garage, while the other side will serve as the town hall. Both sides will have conference rooms, offices, updated ADA restrooms, and a new parking lot with improved landscaping. The basement space will serve as shared storage between the town and the police department.
