Jones Petrie Rafinski is providing the planning and consulting services for this 500 acre mixed-use, traditional neighborhood development known as “Parkwel”. The development will include 400,000 sft. of retail and business space and nearly 1,100 housing units. Plans incorporate a complex system of drainage features including a two-stage ditch reconstruction at Pine Creek, storm water wetlands treatment, and multi-tiered and equalized retention cells. Planting schemes for treatment, storage and release areas are carefully planned to provide treatment as well as alternative best management practices and aesthetic features.

Sustainable site design is incorporated on all aspects of the project and is being designed by LEED AP accredited professional staff from our Landscape Architectural and Civil Engineering Departments.

Components include sewer, water, storm sewer, broadband, 2 bridges and new roadways. Park land, water features and significant public spaces are planned as well. Services provided by JPR include land use planning, zoning activities, wetlands and environmental services, surveying, engineering, and a complex traffic study and master plan.
