      BUDGET: $25 Million
      CLIENT CONTACT: PSM Sports Marketing
      and Mandalay Entertainment
      PROJECT MANAGER: David Rafinski

The Ottawa Baseball Stadium was once home to a double A minor league baseball team. Due to a decrease in fan attendance and a deteriorating stadium the team moved from Ottawa. The city of Ottawa, and two private companies are working together to renovate this stadium, bring a minor league baseball team back, and restore this valuable community asset. The stakeholders approached JPR and partner consultant Ewing Cole and Associates to provide design services. The plan includes an evaluation of the cost and feasibility of many design features including:

  • 360° concourse with brew pub, bar, fun zone, splash pad, playground, and center field entrance
  • Terraced group picnic areas
  • Outdoor suites with 4-Topps tables
  • Scoreboard
  • Audio/visual package
  • Facade improvements with LED fascia board
  • Batting cage facility
  • Renovated home plate main entrance
  • Team offices

Working with the city, the design team has developed a master plan that achieves a diverse and updated stadium experience.
