MADISON STREET PLAZA PROJECT GROUNDBREAKING
LOCATION: Decatur, Indiana

Construction begins on another great asset for the Decatur community as the groundbreaking for the Madison Street Plaza project occurred in September. The plaza’s design pays tribute to Decatur’s rich artistic history while serving as not only a functional street but also a unique space for various community events (Image courtesy of the City of Decatur).

WIND HARP INSTALLED AT CENTER FOR HOSPICE CARE'S MISHAWAKA CAMPUS
LOCATION: Mishawaka, Indiana

JPR is excited to see the “Aeoleus Wind Harp” installed at the Center for Hospice Care's Mishawaka Campus. This interactive sculpture, which plays a harmonic tone through the power of the wind, is another art element within the campus that provides an outdoor destination for both visitors and staff members. HILER MULTI-MEDIA CENTER GROUNDBREAKING
LOCATION: Walkerton, Indiana

The groundbreaking for the Hiler Multi-Media Center in Walkerton occurred in September. The new Hiler Multi-Media Center will be located next to the Walkerton BMV on Roosevelt Road and will provide 5,300 square feet of library space to replace the existing library. The new single-story building will include reading rooms, offices, classrooms, stacks area, a fireplace, and a high clerestory set of windows to provide natural light. The new library will be a wonderful addition to the town while also serving as a nice focal point as one enters town on Route 6.

ST. MARYS NATURE PRESERVE RIBBON CUTTING
LOCATION: Decatur, Indiana

The City of Decatur held the ribbon cutting for the St. Marys Nature Preserve in September. This project has been in the works for many years and JPR is proud to have assisted with the design and permitting. The Nature Preserve was designed to expand upon the existing Rivergreenway with almost one mile of additional trails, enhance the great views of the pond with a pier overlook, allow for educational opportunities with two observation areas with seating, and allow for public access through a new parking area that even allows for bus parking (Image courtesy of the City of Decatur).

OVER 3,000 BOOKS DONATED SO FAR IN 2017!
LOCATION: Citizen's Square in Fort Wayne, Indiana

This morning Denise of JPR restocked the Little Library (better known as Snoopy's Doghouse) located within the City Utilities office for all of the young readers out there! JPR couldn't be more proud to stand behind this great cause. This year alone over 3,000 books have made their way into the hands of young readers visiting Citizen's Square!
