CIVIL ENGINEER
Due to aggressive growth in every area of our professional practice, we are looking for several civil engineers. These positions will be based out of our new South Bend office.

Our practice is very broad and includes:

      ▪ Municipal water and wastewater systems
      ▪ Municipal systems
      ▪ Roads, bridges and recreational trails
      ▪ Parks and multi-purpose recreational facilities
      ▪ Professional sports facilities (stadiums, etc.)
      ▪ Industrial development
      ▪ Retail development
      ▪ Renewable energy
      ▪ Environmental engineering

Our reach is regional and in some cases international, depending on the assignment, with most of our practice located in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. However, we regularly service projects on the east coast and south to Florida. Travel may be required for candidates on a limited basis.


Required Education/Experience
      ▪ Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited
        university degree program is required
      ▪ Eligibility to obtain EIT or PE

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Jones Petrie Rafinski is a consulting engineering/architectural firm with offices in Elkhart, South Bend and Fort Wayne. We are growing our team of talented and dedicated professionals, and we are looking for a Landscape Architect, with 5+ years of experience to work in our Fort Wayne office. We offer engineering, landscape architecture, architecture, planning, surveying and consulting services on a wide variety of projects for both the municipal and private sectors.

Responsibilities:

      ▪ Designs and manages landscape architecture projects.
      ▪ Confers and collaborates with clients, engineers, architects, or other disciplines
        on wide variety of planning and design projects.
      ▪ Develops, modifies and reviews drawings for landscape architecture projects.
      ▪ Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm-wide design
        excellence and problem solving.
      ▪ Demonstrates understanding of the relationship between design and
        constructability.
      ▪ Participates in managing client relationship.
      ▪ Assist in preparation of proposals; participates in public presentations.
      ▪ Actively promotes collaborative and innovative culture.
      ▪ Proactively engages staff and provides opportunities for development.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture; 5 years of experience; and a current license. Candidate should also have the ability to apply creativity and energy to innovative and unique projects. Other requirements include:

      ▪ Proficiency in AutoCad (Civil 3D desired)
      ▪ Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
      ▪ Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign graphic software preferred,
        Sketchup, GIS
      ▪ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
      ▪ A strong focus on the quality of deliverables to allow for best possible
        outcomes for our clients
      ▪ Ability to proactively pursue new business opportunities, prepare proposals and
        otherwise promote the firm's services
      ▪ Ability to work in team environment
      ▪ Ability to effectively meet deadlines
