Job Summary:

Under direction and supervision of the CEO, the Graphics and Communication Coordinator will create, design, and organize both graphic representations and written narratives that communicate the firm’s projects. This individual will develop various marketing materials, assist the Project Managers with presentations, proposals, trade show exhibits, and promotional material. This position can be based out of South Bend or Fort Wayne, Indiana, with routine travel between all offices required.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in graphic design, fine arts, visual communication, typography or other related fields. Other related experience would include journalism, marketing, public relations. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in page layout programs such as InDesign and MS Office. This position also requires a dynamic individual who has strong attention to detail and the ability to meet multiple changing deadlines in a fun, fast-paced environment. Work both alone and in a team environment, the candidate will work closely with other professionals, but have the responsibility for meeting assigned project deadlines.

Specific Job Skills:

      ▪ Identify opportunities for continual improvements and refinements to marketing
      ▪ Expand social media approaches to marketing and news-worthy deliverables.
      ▪ Work with Project Managers to develop, implement, and modify the marketing support
        material for their market, competition, and services.
      ▪ Oversee the creation and organization of all marketing assets, including templates,
        graphic images, and accompanying materials.
      ▪ Develop and oversee the implementation of the organization's social media marketing
        strategy to generate inbound leads, gain followers, and create a
        positive image for the company.
      ▪ Ability to use a digital camera for project photographs.
      ▪ Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
      ▪ Illustrates concepts by providing rough layout of art copy regarding arrangement,
        type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
      ▪ Prepares final layout by marking and pasting-up finish copy and art.
      ▪ Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
      ▪ Assists with project proposals and client interview process.
      ▪ Create graphics and coordinate narratives for newsletters, brochures,
        mailers, announcement posters, and other related marketing materials.
      ▪ Writes and/or edits project descriptions and personnel resumes.
      ▪ Create and maintain an electronic 'Marketing Material' library.
      ▪ Update the company's current website.
      ▪ Assist with the creation and updating of trade show exhibits.
      ▪ Knowledgeable and proficient with Adobe Suite (i.e. InDesign, Illustrator,
        Photoshop, etc.).
      ▪ Understanding of the current creative trends.
