VETERANS MEMORIAL DEDICATED
LOCATION: Mishawaka, Indiana

The Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka dedicated their new Veterans Memorial on Wednesday. The memorial is located on their south lawn along the northern banks of the St. Joseph River. JPR worked closely with the Center for Hospice since the initial thought of wanting to honor our Veterans was their idea. JPR provided the overall design concepts, presented the design to the various veteran groups to gather input and buy-in and then prepared the necessary construction documents and guidance for the successful completion of the project. CITY OF NEW HAVEN SELECTS JPR
LOCATION: New Haven, Indiana

The City of New Haven has selected JPR to prepare design plans and specifications for the City’s Community Crossings Street Improvements. They were recently awarded $1,000,000 in funding from the Indiana Department of Transportation through the Community Crossings Matching Grant. The street improvement project will include the reconstruction of Country Knolls, Norland Lane, Kirklynn Drive, and Greenmoor Drive and the milling and resurfacing of Pawnee Way and Shawnee Trail. JPR will be providing professional engineering services to include surveying, roadway and drainage design, utility coordination, permitting, small structure inspection, and bid and contract administration services. JPR is very excited to work with the City of New Haven and to be part of this important project!

JPR ASSISTING THE TOWN OF MARKLE
LOCATION: Markle, Indiana

The Town of Markle has approved JPR to assist them in utilizing the nearly $347,000 in funding they received from the Community Crossings Matching Grant award. The Town is looking to utilize the funding to complete the reconstruction of Novae Parkway and a section of Tracy Street north of U.S. 224. JPR will be assisting through this entire process from the beginning design phase to the end with the construction administration phase.

JAMES CULTURAL PLAZA INSTALLATION COMPLETE
LOCATION: Auburn, Indiana

The James Foundation placed this ad in The Star newspaper with the completion of the James Cultural Plaza in Auburn, Indiana. JPR couldn't agree more with what they said. ELKHART'S MAIN STREET IN MIDST OF A RENAISSANCE
LOCATION: Elkhart, Indiana

Elkhart is a prime example of how a streetscape beautification can transform a downtown area into a better place to walk, eat and shop and in turn provide the potential to help revive a downtown area. JPR is proud to have designed the streetscape beautification for Elkhart and is happy to continue working on projects in downtown Elkhart! Click for more information.

CITY OF GOSHEN COMPOST PAD
LOCATION: Goshen, Indiana

For the City of Goshen's Environmental Center’s composting pad, JPR's design overcame many subsoil issues. JPR designed the grading plan, storm water detention pond with controlled outfall & typical composting pad pavement section utilizing geotextile filter fabric, geogrid & layered asphalt pavement millings provided by City of Goshen from road improvement projects. In the “Maple City” of Goshen, the collecting of compost is a significant environmental effort, now enhanced by the new pad.

BARTLETT AND MARION STREET ROUNDABOUTS
LOCATION: South Bend, Indiana

The Bartlett and Marion Street Roundabouts near downtown South Bend are scheduled to open for traffic! JPR worked with the city to develop the design which included the "Welcome to South Bend" sign attached to a series of decorative brick-veneered walls, landscaping, irrigation and decorative lighting. COMMUNITY CROSSING MATCHING GRANT

The Community Crossings program recently announced the municipalities in northern Indiana that will be receiving matching grant funds for road and bridge preservation projects. With JPR's assistance, over $1,172,000 in grant funds were secured by the following Towns: Andrews, Bourbon, Bremen, Lakeville, Markle, Walkerton, and Winona Lake!!! Click for more information.

STUDEBAKER PROJECT
LOCATION: South Bend, Indiana

The board for Regional Cities of Northern Indiana recommended to allocate $3.5 million to repair the façade of the Studebaker Building that faces Four Winds Field. JPR is proud to be part of the team helping to renovate the former Studebaker assembly plant into a hub for technology businesses and manufacturers. Click for more information.
